Assassin's Creed Favorites

Source: assassinscreed.wikia.com Having just completed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, I wanted to give out my rankings for my favorite titles from the series thus far. Though I haven’t played Rogue or Unity yet, I figured I’d make the rankings as I go along. Here’s what I have. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Assassin’s Creed II Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag I felt the thought of a pirate becoming an Assassin was a good story and the setting was absolutely beautiful. I wasn’t a fan of the naval combat in Assassin’s Creed III, but Black Flag really make the naval combat a lot better. Also, the DLC story Freedom Cry was a good one as well. Assassin’s Creed III I wasn’t a fan of Connor as a main character and the American Revolution seemed quite boring to me. The only reason why this ranks higher than Revelations is because of the DLC, “The Tyranny of King Washington”, which I though was an awesome story with its “What if…” storyline. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations A great way to close out Ezio’s storyline, but seemed as if the story lost its steam. It did a lot of exploring Altair’s history, which I think was to really close out his character as well, but there was a lot of imbalance between the characters. I felt more drawn into Altair’s progression rather an Ezio’s. Assassin’s Creed Repetition.

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse Alpha Playthrough

I got the opportunity to play RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, a game based on the anime RWBY by Rooster Teeth Productions. The game is in its Alpha stage, created by Jordan Scott. It’s great thus far, but I’m ready to see the rest of the game as it progresses. Have a watch and if you want to try out the game yourself, the link is in the video’s description and you must be a sponsor on Rooster Teeth’s website. Happy Sunday! ...

Killer is Dead Stream! [Edit from 12/7/14]

Yo homies, My stream in Killer is Dead from yesterday is now edited and uploaded on YouTube. Watch below if you like. I’ve never played a Suda 51 game before, but I’ve watched streams of Shadows of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw, both also Suda 51 titles, and thought I would try Killer is Dead when I picked it up during a Steam sale. I think it’s pretty good so far and looks as if it may be a shorter title than the two titles I’ve watched and I’m hoping that the combat style doesn’t get too overly complicated as I spend more time on the game. I also really enjoy the art style. ...

Reading is Fun (11 Years Later)

Was it really middle school that started making reading such a burden? Reading textbooks to do your homework, summer reading for book reports, and analyzing literary elements seems to caused a downward spiral for reading just for the sake of enjoying a story. Between 2003 to about 2013, I’ve probably only read about 10 books for enjoyment. I’m a little disappointed by that. I mean, at the end of the day, when you’re done with your homework and projects and such, the last thing a person wants to do is to read something. It’s either television or sleep. Perfectly acceptable excuses under the given circumstances. ...
